Dance-Theater Workshop

An experimental space where movement and dramaturgy dissolve boundaries. Drawing on Pina Bausch's approach, the practice seeks gestural truth rather than isolated technical mastery. The body becomes a storyteller: it narrates, evokes memory, and responds to emotional impulses, transforming abstract feeling into concrete stage presence. Led by Lilian Domingos, the work begins with deep bodily awareness. Improvisation, theatrical games, and movement laboratories free participants from mechanical patterns. Students learn to inhabit space with intention, employing weight, speed, and pause as narrative tools. Silence speaks as powerfully as a cry; a simple walk can carry the intensity of an entire monologue. A collective and vulnerable environment where the everyday becomes art. The workshop cultivates authorial creation, enabling each person to discover their own aesthetic signature. Dance-theater emerges as cathartic and anthropological experience: the human capacity to communicate the ineffable through flesh, effort, and imagination.
