Led by Mariane Klettenhofer, co-founder of O Pequeno Colecionador, this five-part workshop series explores how contemporary art practices connect with toys and games. Each session draws inspiration from works on view in Pina Para crianças: experiências com a arte desde 1968, using them as starting points for hands-on exercises with different materials and spatial approaches. Through collective activities, participants will engage with play and toys as distinct forms of expression, tools for imagination, and means of understanding the world. Manual creation becomes part of a creative, playful and reflective process that strengthens collective thinking and inventive capacity. Designed for ages 16 and up. No charge. Registration opens 19/08 at 10h through 28/08 at 18h, or until 20 spaces fill. Dates: 03, 10, 17, 24 September and 01 October. Time: Thursdays 15h30–17h30. Venue: Ateliê Pinacoteca Contemporânea, Avenida Tiradentes, 273. Facilitator: Mariane Klettenhofer holds degrees in architecture and urban design from FAUUSP and a master's in art, philosophy and critical thought from European Graduate School. She founded O Pequeno Colecionador in 2018 with artist Artur Lescher, conducting research, education and curation to connect visual arts with play experience. Her projects include Laboratório de Experiências Lúdico-Artísticas, shown in Arte é bom at Museu da Imagem e do Som (2022–2023), and Tudo é arte, tudo é brinquedo, selected through the 10o Edital de Concurso de Projetos de Mediação em Arte e Cidadania Cultural (2023) by Centro Cultural São Paulo and Secretaria Municipal de Cultura.
