The soaring adventure of a 13-year-old girl and her estranged father who learn what family is all about when they adopt an orphaned flock of geese and teach them to fly! Starring Jeff Daniels, Anna Paquin and Dana Delaney. Based on the true story of Canadian Bill Lishman, born and raised in the GTA, whose work as an artist and inventor received international acclaim, and is immortalized in this Oscar-nominated 1996 family film.
"Prior to shooting Fly Away Home, I'd always consider myself a creative spirit but when I met Bill, I found someone even more creative, even more alive, even more imaginative. He taught me a lot about what it means to be a true artist and it was an honour playing him." - Jeff Daniels
Introduction by Carmen Lishman and Aaron Lishman, daughter and son of Bill Lishman.
