Tango Argentino Essentials
About the event
Join an open-level space to learn and return to the Tango Argentino fundamentals, start from zero, refine what you already know if you aren’t new to the dance, and explore how the essentials of tango work in real movement with another person.
Each class has a focus: Posture, embrace, walking, axis, connection, musicality, navigation, weight transfer, improvisation, and more.
Always returning from different perspectives to the foundations that support your dance: Learn → Revisit → Refine → Connect the dots → Make it your own
Best for you if you want to:
• Start tango or return after a pause. • Strengthen your foundations at any stage. • Refine technique and efficiency of your movements. • Understand something you “know” but don’t fully embody yet. • Improve your connection, musicality and navigation on the dance floor. • Have space to explore questions that arise in your dancing.
No previous experience required. All levels are welcome. Join with or without a dance partner and learn both roles.

After the class, join the [Focused Práctica](https://www.jessicagerdel.com/tangopractica/) to integrate what you learn and receive Jessica's feedback while socializing in an easy-going atmosphere.
Per class: €20 Per Práctica: €15 Class 10-block: €185 (valid for 3 months, can be used on Wednesday and Sunday courses) 4 consecutive Sundays* (Sept 13 and 27 + Oct 11 and 18) including Focused Práctica: €85

The **[Tango Learning Pass ](https://jessicagerdel.com/tango-learning-pass)**supports you in building your weekly practice with flexibility and consistency. It includes Wednesday and Sunday* courses and Focused Prácticas for €120 every 4 weeks.
*There's no weekly Sunday class on Sept 20 and Oct 4 due to special Tango Weekends.

Jessica Gerdel is a certified Tango Argentino teacher and movement researcher based in Vienna. Her teaching combines tango technique with body awareness, connection, musicality and improvisation, helping dancers move beyond memorizing figures and understand their bodies, listen and adapt, dance with different partners, and gradually develop a tango that feels like their own. She teaches dancers of different levels through regular classes, Focused Prácticas, Tango Immersion Weekends, a Tango & Movement Pedagogical Training, and special events, creating a welcoming learning environment that values curiosity, connection and the joy of dancing with different people.
