This October, join us as we step away from the drawing rooms of Regency England and into the candlelit corridors of Gothic literature.
In celebration of Halloween, we’ll be reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the 1897 Victorian classic that transformed centuries of folklore into one of literature’s most enduring tales. Told through letters, diaries, telegrams, and newspaper accounts, the novel weaves together themes of fear, desire, morality, modernity, and the supernatural.
Join us for an autumn evening of lively conversation as we discuss Stoker’s novel, the Victorian world that produced it, and the remarkable cultural legacy of Count Dracula.
Whether you’re revisiting an old favorite or encountering Dracula for the first time, all are welcome. 🦇📚
