Baden Powell Trail: Horseshoe Bay to Grouse Mountain: Hard – Date Change
About the event
Horseshoe Bay to Cypress Resort Parking - this is the most difficult section of the entire trail. It is very steep and has large rock scree to climb over. Includes great views from Eagle Bluffs and a scenic subalpine walk across the top of Black Mountain.
Cypress Resort Parking to Cleveland Dam - this is a moderately difficult section that is well-maintained, with some fallen trees to climb over. The stretch closer to the dam runs through a neighborhood. A difficult exercise hike. This trail has steep parts that occasionally even out to let your legs rest, but the terrain is very rough, with some sections requiring the use of hands for balance. This is a challenging hike which is great to get people in shape.

**If you are taking the 250 Horseshoe Bay bus, get off at the stop after the overpass, walk over the overpass, cross the lanes, and then meet us at the trailhead.*
