Morning concert with electronic musician and producer Sara Plusplus. Experimental electronic music in Amsterdam's oldest building while the city is waking up. About Sara Plusplus Sara Plusplus is an experimental electronic musician and producer. Her work combines trial and error, cut-up techniques and improvisation with pop structures such as melodic hooks and sultry vocals. Her voice moves between speaking and singing, shifting effortlessly between narrative, percussion and melody. Using field recordings, a wide range of samples and electronics, she builds layered soundscapes from textures, loops and fragments, sometimes driven by distinct rhythms and at other times entirely free-form. Her music draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including asmr, ambient, minimalism, jazz and film music. Her latest album Late Night TV (2026), released on Rubber, explores themes of hypnagogia and melancholy through phone recordings, synthesizers, samples, jazz influences, spoken word and vocals. The album has been described as both intimate and epic, with a disorienting sense of space, as though you are in two different rooms at the same time. About Silence Silence is a series of morning concerts. On the first Friday of every month, as the city awakens, musicians explore the centuries-old acoustics of the Oude Kerk. The series focuses on contemporary music in which acoustic, digital and electronic sounds merge. Following in the tradition of Sweelinck’s walking concerts centuries ago, audiences are invited to move through the historic architecture of the church and experience the music from different perspectives.
