Getting By in the San Francisco Bay Area
About the event
Join us for a Community Conversation about ‘Getting By in the San Francisco Bay Area.' Many of us were drawn here because of job and education opportunities, culture, natural beauty, and diverse community. Many have deep roots here or have lived here our whole lives. Despite all these positives, many of us are affected by the ever-increasing cost of living and struggle to see a future here. We will gather together to explore, listen, and discuss how we are affected by the cost of living in the SF Bay Area and how we try to get by.
This event is for you if…
• You want to think about this topic alongside others, not alone. • You're carrying questions you haven't had space to explore. • You are curious about how others experience living in the SF Bay Area. • You want to explore how UU values can support you in this area of your life.
What to expect: Small group conversation. Thoughtful questions. Sharing ideas. People listening to each other. No pressure to have answers. This event is open to everyone, and we encourage you to bring a friend along who is also interested in this topic. Light snacks and hot drinks will be provided, but not a full meal. You are welcome to bring your food with you. No registration required
