Turramurra to Epping
About the event
This scenic walk starts at Turramurra Station (Southern side on William St). The walk passes through the beautiful Sheldon Forest and along a fire trail to Browns water hole. Following the Great North Walk, we head up the Delvins Creek Trail to Epping.
Those who wish to can stay for lunch/refreshments and/or food after the walk at The Epping Club.
Start Location: 9:30am Turramurra Station. Meet outside station entrance on William St (Southern Side)
Transport: Trains take 40min to reach Turramurra from Central Station and leave every 10min or so. Make sure you arrive BEFORE 9.30am as we will not be waiting. The 8:45am train from Central arrives Turramurra Station at 9:24am.
Distance: 14Km Terrain: Road, Fire trail and bush tracks. Mainly on bush tracks Time: Around 3-4hrs
WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit, picnic lunch and 2L water.
