Runway of Rezilience returns to Toronto for its third year, bringing an unforgettable celebration of Indigenous fashion, food, music, art, culture and community to Evergreen Brick Works on Saturday, September 26.
Created by Seeing Red, Runway of Rezilience is Canada’s premier Indigenous fashion and cultural experience, an Indigenous-led and community-rooted celebration that puts Indigenous creativity and excellence centre stage.
What began as a fashion show has grown into an immersive celebration of contemporary Indigenous culture, bringing together Indigenous designers, artists, performers, chefs, creators and entrepreneurs for one unforgettable evening.
And this year, the runway is just the beginning.
What to Expect:
• The Runway: See the latest collections and creations from an exciting mix of Indigenous fashion talent, including Lesley Hampton, Wabanoonkwe Irick, Karlene Familo, Leela Thomas and Marissa Anderson.
• Culinary Experiences: Explore Indigenous flavours and dishes from a selection of chefs and food vendors throughout the evening.
• Shop the Marketplace: Meet Indigenous artists, makers and entrepreneurs and discover everything from beadwork and jewelry to textiles, art and one-of-a-kind creations.
• Enjoy the Show: Take in live music, performances and entertainment that keep the evening moving well beyond the runway.
• Explore the Experience: With more than 20 activations throughout Evergreen Brick Works, there will be something new to see, experience and discover around every corner.
Gather your friends, dress to the nines, and join us for an unforgettable night celebrating Indigenous fashion, creativity, culture and community.
