About the event

We are pleased to welcome Daniel Krasner, Physiotherapist, once again, for an informative series focused on healthy aging, mobility, and maintaining independence. We gained such valuable insights in our last session, I am looking forward to session 2.

Location: TORONTO PUBLIC LIBRARY - LOCK BRANCH 3083 YONGE ST., TORONTO (Located on the southeast corner of Yonge St. and Lawrence Ave. - steps away from Lawrence Subway Station)

SESSION 2

Session 2 – SEPTEMBER 25th Fall Prevention & Improving Balance Learn about risk factors for falls, ways to improve balance, and practical steps to help you stay safe and confident.

Please mark your calendar for SEPTEMBER 25th at 3:30 PM IN THE ROOM ON THE MAIN FLOOR JUST INSIDE THE CHILDRENS' SECTION. We hope you'll join us for this engaging and educational presentation! *Please forward the $3 simultaneously with your RSVP* to cindyiamcanadian@gmail.com. The library is charging me for the room so that we can include more members.

Maintaining Strength & Mobility as We Age Discover effective approaches to preserving strength, flexibility, and mobility to support an active and independent life. Whether you're dealing with occasional aches and pains, looking to improve your balance, or simply interested in healthy aging, this series will provide valuable information and practical tips.

Bio: Daniel Krasner is a registered physiotherapist who completed his Master's of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. He has spent his career focused on working with older adults at leading rehabilitation hospitals in Toronto as well as helping people in the community improve their function and regain their independence. He continues to act as an Adjunct Lecturer and mentor at the University of Toronto assisting future physiotherapists with their education, clinical skills, and career. His focus now is on ensuring older adults have the tools they need to age in place through educational workshops and in-home one-on-one physiotherapy sessions.
