No two performances are ever the same. Colin Benders and Othernode create an audiovisual performance that unfolds entirely in real time, where music, visuals and light continuously shape one another. Some performances follow a fixed sequence. This one begins with a carefully constructed framework: a shared audiovisual system designed to be played, redirected and transformed in real time.
Within this framework, COLIN BENDERS shapes rhythm, texture and evolving sequences live through his modular synthesiser, while OTHERNODE composes and performs with real-time image, light, projection and the architecture of the venue. Their practices operate as a shared audiovisual instrument, responding to one another and to the space as the performance unfolds. Neither sound nor image merely accompanies the other. Both actively shape the composition.
Presented inside Fabrique des Lumières, the collaboration expands beyond the traditional concert format. Music, light and projection move across the monumental architecture, continuously reshaping the perception of space.
The system is prepared, but the performance is not fixed. What unfolds is created in the moment and belongs entirely to those who are present.
