About the event

Meet your neighbours and play a relaxed social game of mahjong. Originating in the Qing Dynasty, mahjong is a captivating tile-based game for 4 players, blending strategy and a touch of chance. It's a cherished pastime, especially amongst older generations, and a cornerstone of Chinese family gatherings and celebrations. Games are non-competitive and players of all levels of experience are welcome. There are no prizes and gambling is not permitted. Keep in touch with what's happening in Green Square. Sign up to the Green Square newsletter.
