Street Theatre for the Whole Family

The Amsterdam Street Theatre and Cinema The Pulse join forces. Together, they provide an afternoon full of art, humor, and wonder for the whole family. Meet AMInal, a cheerful and endearing street theatre trio that immediately grabs attention. Fluffy monster

AMInal is street theatre you simply cannot walk past. As soon as Nal, the big and soft 'monster', appears, you want to touch him, hug him, or follow him. Together with a special lady and her flute, Nal makes for a funny and surprising encounter. And then his fluffy little brother AMI also makes an appearance. Together they form AMInal: a crazy and cheerful trio that makes the whole family laugh.

In and around Cinema The Pulse, a playful and surprising program is emerging in which theater, imagination, and film reinforce each other. As a visitor, you are not just a spectator. You can also wander, discover, laugh, and let yourself be carried away by short performances, encounters, and an atmosphere that brings the location to life in a new way.

24 Hours Zuid stands for celebrating art and culture in the neighborhood, with activities that surprise, connect, and invite participation. The collaboration between Cinema The Pulse and StraaTTheater fits this perfectly: accessible, imaginative, and suitable for the whole family. Cinema The Pulse is a special place: contemporary, welcoming, and right in the heart of vibrant Amsterdam-Zuid. STILTLIFE StraaTTheater is known for street and site-specific theater in which the audience is invited to participate. Together, they temporarily transform the film venue into a location for street theater, where young and old feel at home. Whether you come for a short screening, a special encounter, or simply to be surprised, at Cinema The Pulse you will experience these 24 hours in a way that will linger long after.
