🌿😎Relaxing Paddle from UW Waterfront Activities Center

Join me for a relaxing afternoon paddle at the University of Washington Waterfront Activities Center (WAC), right next to Husky Stadium! Let’s plan on an hour & 1/2 on the water.

This is a rental-only paddle—no need to bring your own kayak or stand-up paddleboard. The WAC offers single kayaks, double kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and canoes, so choose whatever sounds most fun for you!

We’ll enjoy a leisurely paddle around Union Bay, taking in the scenery and enjoying a relaxing afternoon on the water. No racing—just a fun, easygoing paddle!

🪪 Important: Anyone renting equipment and going on the water should bring a valid photo ID for the rental. Also no cash payments accepted.

🅿️ Parking: Parking is available near the WAC, and parking fees may apply.

🔐 Need to store your things? Lockers are available for rent, and dry bags are also available if you’d like to keep your valuables with you while paddling.

The WAC provides paddles and life jackets, so you don’t need to bring your own equipment.

Come enjoy a peaceful paddle, beautiful views and some time outdoors! 🌿☀️

Weather dependent: I may adjust the start time depending on wind or other weather conditions. I’ll keep everyone updated if the time needs to change.
