Join us for a walk through historic Nihombashi and a visit to the Shinise Festival, where you can discover traditional foods, products, and cultural treasures from long-established businesses across Japan! ✨
☕ First, we’ll meet at the café! Enjoy English conversation and international exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. First-time and solo participants are very welcome, so you can feel comfortable joining even if you’re coming alone. 😊
🚶♂️🚶♀️ After enjoying some time at the café, we’ll explore Nihombashi together! We’ll visit historic landmarks such as the Bank of Japan Head Office and Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, while discovering the history and atmosphere of this historic neighborhood. 🏛️🦁✨
🏮🍡 Then, it’s time for the Shinise Festival! The festival brings together traditional sweets, foods, crafts, and other products from long-established businesses across Japan, giving you a chance to experience the flavors and culture of different regions. 🍶🎎
Experience the history of Nihombashi on foot while enjoying traditional foods, local specialties, and Japanese culture from across the country—all in one event! ✨
🌏 Solo participants, first-time participants, and international participants are all welcome!

☀️ Route
📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (2:30-3:20 PM) Relax in a cozy café atmosphere while enjoying English conversation and international exchange. Before departure, participants will have a chance to introduce themselves, so even first-time attendees can quickly feel comfortable! ⬇️ 📍 Departure (3:20 PM) ⬇️ 📍 Bank of Japan Head Office (3:35 PM) Completed in 1896, this historic building features a grand stone exterior inspired by Western Renaissance architecture. It is known as one of Japan’s representative examples of modern architecture. ⬇️ 📍 Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store (3:40 PM) Founded in 1904 as Japan’s first department store, this historic retailer has a long and distinguished history. 🏬✨ The current main building was completed in 1935 and was designated a Nationally Important Cultural Property in 2016. The beautiful central hall and iconic lion statues are also highlights of the building. 🦁🏛️ ⬇️ 📍 Shinise Festival (4:10 PM) A special event bringing together long-established shops and local specialties from across Japan in Nihombashi. 🏮✨ The venue features booths selling and showcasing traditional sweets, food, crafts, and other products from historic businesses, as well as local specialties and drinks from various regions. 🍡🍶 You can also enjoy traditional culture workshops and live stage performances, offering a chance to experience Japan’s history and culture firsthand. 🎎🎵 Take a walk through Nihombashi while discovering the flavors, craftsmanship, and traditions of long-established businesses from across Japan! ✨ ⬇️ 📍 End (5:00 PM) After this, you are free to explore on your own. The event officially ends at 6:00 PM.

☀️ Important Notes • This is not a guided tour. • Please arrive by the Departure Time. You cannot join the event after departure. • The last order for drinks is 30 minutes before the departure time. • If you do not order a drink\, an additional ¥500 will be charged on top of the participation fee. • Same-day registration at the cafe is not available. • The event will be canceled if fewer than three people are attending or in case of severe weather. In such cases\, you are welcome to join one of our various events at the cafe instead. • If you leave the event early\, please let the organizer know.
