Mean Girls
About the event
Mean Girls Day Special Screening "On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was. It's October 3rd." Get in loser, we're going to the cinema. To celebrate the official holy day of the Burn Book calendar, we are bringing this modern cult classic back to the big screen! Round up your Plastics, and get a 10% discount at the bar if you dress in pink (even if it’s not a Wednesday). Grool? Grool. Raised in the African bush by her zoologist parents, home-schooled teenager Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) enters the ruthless social ecosystem of an American high school for the very first time. Recruited by a pair of cynical outsiders to infiltrate "The Plastics", a gilded, dictatorial clique led by the merciless Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Cady sets out to destroy their supremacy from within, only to find herself slowly seduced by the intoxicating power of popularity. Scripted with razor-sharp wit by Tina Fey, Mean Girls remains the definitive teen comedy of the 2000s, a biting, endlessly quotable satire of high-school tribalism that hasn't lost an ounce of its venom or charm. In English. Rated NC16: Some sexual references
