Members of REC Instituto will lead Dramaturgias do Vestígio: Corpo, Território e Memória from 10 to 13 August, Monday through Thursday, 14h to 18h, at Casa de Teatro Mariajosé de Carvalho in Ipiranga. Running ahead of the 7th Mostra de Teatro de Heliópolis (15–22 August 2026), this workshop investigates how memory, testimony, imagery, rhythm and territorial experience become scenic material. Rooted in research conducted in rural Goiás alongside ancestral communities and in the covid-19 cemeteries of Manaus, the work builds dramaturgy from traces, memory and resistance. Hercules Morais and Angela Ribeiro direct dramaturgy; Paulo Victor Gandra leads embodied research, culminating in a scenic-procedural synthesis created with participants. Free registration runs 21–31 July via form posted to @mostraheliopolis and @ciadeteatroheliopolis on social media. The workshop welcomes artists, theatre, dance, performance and music students, and those interested in scenic creation processes, with 20 places available regardless of prior experience. The 7th Mostra de Teatro de Heliópolis is produced by Companhia de Teatro Heliópolis and MUK, curated by Alexandre Mate and Dalma Régia, with artistic direction by Miguel Rocha and production direction by Daniel Gaggini. Funding comes from Edital de Fomento à Cultura SP - ProAC no 092025, Economia Criativa: Fomento à Mostras, Festivais e Evento, administered by the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, Creative Economy and Creative Industries.
