Junior Grachtenfestival: Open Jamsessie (2+)

Percussionists Lucas Jansen and Daniel Bolba will lead an open percussion jam session for children aged 2 and up and their parents during the Junior Grachtenfestival at De Gliphoeve Children's Farm in Amsterdam. Grab a djembe, shaker, or samba instrument and build rhythms together using short patterns and improvisation. No musical experience is necessary. Making rhythms together with real instruments During this open jam session, you will play percussion instruments together with other children and their parents. Think of djembés, shakers, and samba instruments. Percussionists Lucas Jansen and Daniel Bolba will guide the session step by step. They build rhythms using short patterns so that everyone can quickly join in. No musical experience is necessary. Musicians with experience in interactive playing Lucas Jansen develops interactive music projects in which rhythm, movement, and ensemble playing take center stage. Daniel Bolba has worked with ensembles such as Asko|Schönberg and Ensemble Modern Academy and performed at festivals such as November Music and North Sea Jazz. Together, they make the audience a part of the music. Junior Canal Festival This jam session is part of the Junior Grachtenfestival, the children's program of the Grachtenfestival.
