Come along and draw with us!
The event is free — we just ask everyone to buy at least one drink from the venue. It’s a simple way to support the venue that gives us a space to meet, draw and keep these events free.
Places are limited, so RSVP is essential. You can RSVP through either the Hong Kong Art Group or the People Drawing People Meetup group. There’s no need to RSVP twice — just choose whichever group suits you.
Bringing friends? You’re welcome to bring up to two guests, but please make sure they are included in your Meetup RSVP. We need everyone attending to be counted so we can keep within the venue’s capacity.
Children are very welcome, but they must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event. Children attending should also be included in your RSVP.
What is People Drawing People?
People Drawing People is exactly what it sounds like: people drawing each other and connecting through art.
It’s a relaxed, friendly drawing session for everyone, from complete beginners picking up a pencil for the first time to experienced artists looking for some informal sketching practice.
The format is deliberately informal and may vary depending on the host and the group. We might have timed poses, or we might simply sit together and sketch each other while we chat. There’s no formal teaching and no pressure to produce a finished masterpiece.
Everyone remains fully clothed. The idea is simply to draw and connect through drawing people.
Bring your own drawing materials and something to draw on, grab a drink, find a seat and join us!
