Why practice Sahaja Yoga? In the busy urban life, we often neglect the health of body, mind, and spirit. Sahaja Yoga meditation is exactly what modern people need. It gives us yoga, the state of union with the divine, helping us restore inner balance through subtle energy. This restoration is natural. This power is part of our inner subtle system, which also includes seven energy centers and three channels. When we are in a balanced state, we are not affected by the past or the future, and we can also be in a state of thoughtless awareness. This power is called "Kundalini" in Sanskrit. "Sahaja" means natural, and "Yoga" means the state of connection and union. Sahaja Yoga only involves meditation and does not involve any postural yoga.
