----- Workshop Description ------
Creating characters and world on spot is hard. In this workshop, we’re going to use your own experience, background, and the real rooms you’ve lived in to build rich, effortless scenes. When you pull from people and places you actually know, your characters become vivid and your stage work feels grounded. The best material doesn’t need to be made up, it comes from you.

----- What is Improv Lab ------ At FIG, everyone is encouraged to explore new ideas and concepts — that’s exactly what the Improv Lab is for! It’s a fun, exploratory space led by a rotating lineup of facilitators from our community. Regardless of experience level, each instructor brings their unique style and perspective to the session. Participants are invited to try out brand-new exercises, work-in-progress formats, and more. It’s a supportive environment where we help each other grow — both as improvisers and as instructors.
