Join COAST — Chicago Outdoor Adventures & Social Trips for a relaxed Hyde Park bonfire and beach hangout near the lakefront with games, food, good conversations, and new friends.
We’ll meet near the fire pit area at Promontory Point and spend the evening hanging out by the lake. This will be a casual social event where everyone can meet new people, enjoy the nearby beach, play games, and relax around the bonfire.
I’ll bring some wood for the fire, but feel free to bring snacks, drinks and water, card games, outdoor games, a blanket, or a lawn chair. You’re welcome to arrive later or leave early.
Please note that the fire pits are first-come, first-served, so we’ll do our best to secure a spot. Please help keep the area clean and be respectful of others.
Weather note:
Since this is an outdoor event, it may be canceled if there is heavy rain, storms, poor air quality, or unsafe weather conditions. If that happens, I’ll reschedule the bonfire for the following weekend.
