Hi everyone!
This month, in conjunction with the celebration of Singapore's 61st birthday, our walk will feature the following at the western end of Singapore:
• Singapore's longest sheltered walkway fitted with solar panels (as certified by the Singapore Book of Records)
• A stopover at the Singapore Discovery Centre (free entry to the "Permanent Exhibits Gallery - Through the Lens of Time" for Singaporeans and PRs)
• Dinner and fellowship at a nearby food court
This is a rain-or-shine event and the walk is mostly sheltered, but do bring along your umbrella in case of light showers for a short uncovered section of the walking path. We will adjust the itinerary if there is heavy rain and/or thunderstorm.
Important:
After you have joined this event on Meetup.com:
• You will be put on the Waitlist.
• Please join the event Telegram group for important updates and the exact location to meet: https://t.me/+hnPB_qHkamxiNjg1. (If your Telegram name is different from your Meetup name, please inform either of the Organizers via a private message on Meetup.com.)

We are meeting somewhere near Joo Koon MRT station and the exact meeting spot will be announced on the event date on Telegram.
We'll set off at 5.00pm (be there at least 10 minutes earlier for attendance-taking). The walk (excluding the stopover at the Singapore Discovery Centre) will be under 45 minutes (less than 3km).
For this walk, there is limit of 15 participants, so do sign up soon. RSVP will close one day before the event date. If there are any urgent messages or updates, we'll communicate through the Telegram group.
