Is this your event?About the event
Every October, Victoria comes alive with history during History Month. Everyone is welcome to participate, from major cultural institutions to local community groups, schools, families and individuals.
Across Victoria, historical societies, tourist attractions, heritage houses, museums, archives, and councils host engaging events that make history accessible and relevant.
History Month recognises that our shared heritage exists everywhere: in our neighbourhoods, traditions, family stories, and daily lives.
Whether you're hosting an event or simply attending, History Month offers countless opportunities to connect with the past and understand how it shapes who we are today.
