New Indoor Location! Mixed Friendly Football @ Pankow - Lousy & Lazy
About the event
Do you like to play football, but relaxed and not with competitive or aggressive players? Are you a bit lazy, a bit old, a bit unfit or not so talented? Then Lousy & Lazy Football is the right thing for you! We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. All genders, ages (+18) and nationalities welcome. Every Wednesday we meet in a school gym in Pankow for an indoor session.
When & where
• Every Wednesday, 8:00-10:00 pm sharp. Please arrive a few minutes earlier (7:50...) so we can start playing 8PM sharp. We kick off at 8:00 pm and play until about max 9:50 pm, then we tidy up and leave. The hall must be empty by 9:55 pm and the school grounds left by 10:00 pm. • Gym of the Mendel-Grundschule, Stiftsweg 3, 13187 Berlin (Pankow) • Entrance: from the school gate, walk straight along the path, turn right at the end and go up the small stairs to the red door. Ring the bell on the left. Changing rooms and toilets are on the first floor.
Gym rules (please read!)
• Indoor shoes only: clean shoes with light, non-marking soles that you have never worn outside. No studs, no street shoes. Please change before entering the hall. • No food or drinks in the hall, no alcohol, and no smoking or vaping anywhere in the building or on the school grounds. • Windows stay closed from 8:00 pm because of the neighbours. Please keep the noise down outside and don't hang around in the schoolyard after the session. • No cars in the courtyard, and no guests or kids waiting in the schoolyard. • Please tell us immediately if you notice damaged or broken equipment, and help setting up the place and putting benches to the side
Lousy & Lazy rules:
1. Don't be competitive: fun only! Enjoy the workout, nice people and magic ball moments. 2. No emotional shouting, no telling other players where to go and what to do. 3. No hard tackling and no sliding (especially not on a gym floor). 4. Avoid injuring yourself and other players at all costs. Tight situation? Give up the ball rather than going all in. 5. Support less fit and less skilled players by giving them the time and space to play the ball, and don't intercept passes to and from them. Bonus points: make them shine! 6. Don't dribble past multiple players (trying to take on one player is fine). 7. Don't close down the defenders too quickly. Give the team a chance to play the ball out. 8. Rotate the goalkeeper. 9. Be a team player. 10. Come regularly and be reliable with your RSVPs.
