When Farah was ten years old, she moved to The Netherlands with her mom, while her dad remained in Sicily. Only years later she discovers that he is regarded there as a hero for his fight against the Mafia. In I pizzini, Farah weaves the beauty of everyday life with stories of family, heritage, and resilience and of the people and events that shape who we become.

At Scala Amsterdam you experience a unique evening where you combine a short 20 minute performance with delicious food and drinks. In our intimate theatre rooms you'll see different genres, from cabaret to music, from spoken word to musicals.
Doors open at 18:00. Settle in upstairs with our shared dining menu, featuring antipasti, mezze and flammkuchen, plus an extensive drinks menu with more than 25 wines, cocktails and mocktails. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are also available. When your show is called, head downstairs to our intimate studio theatre for a 20 minute English language performance. Afterwards, return upstairs to continue your evening.
The kitchen stays open all evening, so you can relax and enjoy your complete Scala experience at your own pace.
