Gardens of the Embassy of France In France, **La Rentrée** is one of the most important moments of the year. More than simply returning from summer vacation, it marks a fresh beginning—a time when schools reopen, businesses resume, new projects start, and people reconnect after the summer months. It is a tradition that embodies renewal, optimism, and the excitement of a new season. The French-American Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring this beloved French tradition to Washington, D.C., while also welcoming the Embassy of France's newly arrived diplomats and celebrating the strength of our French-American community. Step into the beautiful gardens of the Embassy of France for an afternoon filled with French culture, exceptional cuisine, live entertainment, and meaningful connections. Here's a preview of what awaits you: A French Gourmet Village featuring premium French cheeses, charcuterie, authentic crêpes, artisan French ice cream, and other French specialties. Live French music creating the perfect garden atmosphere. A collection of classic Citroën automobiles showcasing French automotive heritage. A fun photo booth to capture your memories of the day. The opportunity to meet members of the French-American community, business leaders, Embassy representatives, and the new diplomatic team. And many more surprises that we'll be unveiling over the coming weeks! Whether you're French, Francophile, or simply curious about French culture, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the spirit of *La Rentrée*, reconnect after the summer, expand your network, and enjoy one of Washington's most beautiful venues. We look forward to welcoming you for an afternoon of French elegance, friendship, and the joy of new beginnings.
