Enjoy a double bill starting with The Harmonix Experience, followed by the Vinicius Cantuaria & Chico Pinheiro duo.
The Harmonix Experience deliver jazz with swagger, funk with soul. Led by Albare on guitar, with Jake Mason on Hammond, Phil Rex on bass, Andrew Swann on drums, Paul Williamson on alto sax, and Salva Persico on percussion, the band kicks off each set with a simple sketch — then lets instinct and groove take over.
Brazilian singer/songwriter/guitarist Vinicius Cantuária is currently touring one of the finest musical ensembles of any genre, with guitar virtuoso Chico Pinheiro. Drawing from the rich history of Brazilian music and integrating it with jazz, avant-garde and pop Vinicius Cantuária's music is like a rolling rhythmic whisper filled with dramatic turns and stunning sonic ideas.
