Beeswax Workshop
About the event
Create Your Own One-of-a-Kind Jewelry from Beeswax ✨
You’re warmly invited to my Beeswax Workshop, where you can step away from everyday life for two hours, immerse yourself in the creative process, and make unique, organic shapes and jewelry pieces from beeswax with your own hands.
No previous experience or special skills are needed. You don’t need to know how to draw, work with metal, or consider yourself “good with your hands.” All you need is curiosity.:) This afternoon is about slowing down, tuning in to the material and to yourself, experimenting, and creating something that is truly yours.
This workshop is for you if…
• you love unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry, • you’re drawn to light, natural, organic shapes, • you’d love to wear something you designed yourself, • you’ve wanted to try jewelry making for a long time, but something has always held you back, • or you simply feel like switching off for two hours and creating with your hands.
What will we make? During the workshop, you’ll be able to create several different wax jewelry pieces and shapes. You can experiment, shape, carve, and explore until you find a form that really speaks to you.
At the end, you can decide whether you’d like to have one or more of your wax models cast in 925 sterling silver and turned into wearable jewelry. This is completely optional and not required for participating in the workshop. If you’d like to have your piece cast in silver After the workshop, I’ll take your selected wax model to the foundry. Once I receive the raw silver casting, I’ll finish it by hand and turn it into a ready-to-wear piece of jewelry for you. As soon as it’s finished, I’ll contact you and we’ll arrange the handover by email or phone.
Participation fee: €45 Casting and finishing fee: €80 / piece Silver: €8 / gram (Example: If your wax jewelry piece weighs 0.2 g, it will be approximately 2.2 g when cast in silver. At €8/g, the silver cost would be approximately €17.60) The cost of the silver is charged in addition to the casting and finishing fee. You can pay for these costs on site in cash or by bank transfer.
