NY Christian Sports Takes Summer Streets 2026!!!

We'll be resurrecting the running group for one weekend this year! Join us on August 8th as we participate in NYC's annual Summer Streets event! The Dept of Transportation closes Park Avenue, making it open to running, biking, walking, etc! Feel free to bring your own bike, scooter, roller blades, etc. If you plan to rent a Citi bike, we recommend downloading the app in advance and entering the promo code early on Saturday morning! Details on Citi Bike promo HERE - https://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/pedestrians/summerstreets.shtml The plan is to meet at the Astoria Ferry stop at 9:30am, take the 9:49am ferry over to East 90th ST, and jog/bike over to Park Ave. We will then ride down to the end of the event near Brooklyn Bridge!
