About the event

Keen to get started with building your App prototype using AI?

➡️➡️➡️ To register for the event, [REGISTER HERE](https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/learn-to-use-claude-with-a-senior-developer-and-build-your-app-tickets-2002599572229) (this is a paid event) ⬅️⬅️⬅️

Claude can generate an app in minutes. Getting one that works, looks good, and holds together takes skill. In this hands-on day, you'll watch a senior developer build an app with Claude, see the thinking and decisions behind every step, and then build your own with expert help on hand. This is not a demo. By the end of the day, your app will be running somewhere you can share it. How the day works

1. Watch and learn. After a short introduction, you'll watch the instructor build a simple app with Claude, including the decisions made along the way. 2. Plan your idea. You'll get clear on what you want to build and what the first version should be. Claude will interview you to uncover anything you've missed, and you'll finish with a solid plan before any building starts. 3. Build with Claude. You'll spend a solid chunk of the day building back and forth with Claude, following your plan and learning how to give feedback that gets better results. 4. Level up. Once your core features are working, you'll learn simple design and UX techniques to turn an app that feels "vibe coded" into one that feels properly developed. 5. Launch it. You'll deploy your app to a live, shareable link, with Claude handling the setup so you can focus on your product. 6. Take it further. Short demos, then take-home advice and homework for building your own Claude workflow.

You'll learn how to: ✅ Turn a rough idea into a clear plan and first version ✅ Use Claude to interview you and shape the plan before building ✅ Write prompts and give feedback that produce better results ✅ Spot and fix common problems in AI-generated apps ✅ Improve design and user experience with simple, practical techniques ✅ Understand how production web apps fit together, and direct Claude to connect the pieces ✅ Deploy your app and share it with the world ✅ Build your own Claude workflow, and get better results using fewer tokens Much of the learning happens naturally as we build, so the day follows the group's needs rather than a fixed script. Why learn with a senior developer? Anyone can paste a prompt and accept what comes back. A senior developer knows what to look for: where generated code is fragile, when the design isn't working, and which decisions Claude shouldn't be left to make alone. You'll get that judgement live, while building your own project. What you'll take home

• Your own app, built and live online • A personal Claude workflow to keep using after the workshop • The confidence to plan, build, and improve apps with AI • The judgement to know when to trust Claude and when to step in

The day at a glance (a rough guide) The instructor works flexibly and will adjust the day to what makes sense for the group, so treat this as a guide rather than a fixed schedule.

• 10:00am: Welcome and introduction • Late morning: Watch the instructor build an app with Claude, then get clear on your own idea and plan • Lunch • Afternoon: Build your app with Claude, then level up the design and UX • Late afternoon: Deploy your app, demos, and take-home advice • Finish: around 5-5.30pm.

Who it's for Beginners, bootcamp students, aspiring developers, designers, product thinkers, and anyone curious about building with Claude. No advanced coding experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Your instructor Mitchell from [The Earth is Square](https://theearthissquare.com/ "https://theearthissquare.com/") is a Senior with over 7 years of experience and is a passionate teacher looking to excel your skills What you need to bring

• A laptop and charger • An app idea (something simple is perfect) • A paid Claude plan (required). The workshop uses Claude Code, which isn't available on the free plan. The Pro plan…
