Is this your event?About the event
I photographed Allan Gardens every week for a year and didn’t see a single photo until it was over.
Join me for a closing auction evening for In the Hours of Light, my 52-week analogue film series shot entirely inside Allan Gardens Conservatory. The film was kept undeveloped until the year ended. The result is 27 framed prints of the conservatory’s plant life through changing seasons and light, ranging from 16×21 to 31×43 inches.
The full collection is offered by silent auction, with live bidding on a few larger statement pieces. Ticket holders receive a digital catalogue before the night to browse ahead, and every piece won goes home wrapped with a certificate of authenticity.
Schedule: Thursday, October 22, 7 to 9 pm. Silent bidding runs all evening, with the live auction near the end.
Tickets: $25 on Eventbrite. Includes one drink ticket and a $25 bid credit toward any piece you win.
Venue: Hotel Victoria, Mosaic Room, 56 Yonge St., Toronto
