Anvil comes from Toronto, Canada, and has been around for decades. Guitarist and vocalist Steve 'Lips' Kudlow and drummer Robb Reiner form the core of the band. Together with bassist Chris Robertson, they play a style that goes straight to the point: solid riffs, catchy hooks and undiminished energy. Bands like Metallica and Slayer acknowledge the influence of Anvil on their own music.

Twentieth studio album: One And Only

With One And Only, Anvil is releasing their twentieth studio album. The band consciously chooses a return to the core of their sound. Lips Kudlow describes the album as the most 'themselves' the band has been in years. No thrash speed tracks, no sexual themes, but pure Anvil metal. The single Feed Your Fantasy and the title track Truth is Dying already give an impression of what you can expect.

Special guest Killer completes the evening
