Guillermo del Toro’s attention to the details of cinematic craft are fully on display in his take on Mary Shelley’s horror classic. Tamara Deverell (production design), Kate Hawley (costume design) and Dan Lausten (director of Photography) help the filmmaker create an opulent world in which the tale of an obsessed scientist and his damned creation rage against an unprepared world.
