The Black Ensemble Theater has been around for 50 years!
Their goal was to help eradicate racism and its damaging effects on our society.
This theatre is very diverse.
For this show, we will, hop on the Mothership and take a groovy ride through the era when Afros were high, bell-bottoms were tight, and the music was out of sight! You Can’t Fake the Funk: A Journey Through Funk Music is a high-energy, feel-good tribute to a sound that defined a generation. From Sly and the Family Stone to Parliament-Funkadelic to Earth, Wind & Fire, you will sit and enjoy the actors as they perform live in stage!
The show will have a 20-minute intermission after an hour of performance.
Show starts Promptly at 7pm!
