35 Years of Walking: A BEST Celebration Walk
About the event
🚶🎊Join us for an afternoon Seawall walk as we celebrate 35 years of BEST Mobility.
For 35 years, BEST Mobility has been advocating for sustainable, healthy, and human-centred transportation and what better way to mark the occasion than taking part in the most fundamental mode of transportation, walking. Together, we’ll start from downtown and loop around False Creek on part of the world’s largest continuous waterfront path. We’ll pass by Science World as we try to spot some seals, and end at Creekside Community Centre; the site of BEST Mobility’s 35th Anniversary Celebration Event - Building Streets for Life: How to Create a City for All Ages.
🎉Following the walk, feel free to join us for an evening of PechaKucha presentations, community connection, networking, and delicious local treats as we reimagine Vancouver’s streets for all generations.
