It’s time for Toronto’s musical community to let its hair down and sing some Dowland at this open-mic pub afternoon!
Toronto Lachrimae Festival Presents: Flow My Beers
Come to just listen, or come to sing or play, and show us YOUR TAKE on Dowland’s mighty oeuvre. If straightforward Dowland is your jam, great! But this could also be the time to unveil your banjo interpretation of Sorrow, stay. You’ll laugh a lot, cry a bit, and then help us close the festival with a group sing of Flow my Tears.
If you would like to perform a John Dowland song, please fill out this form before October 23. We wi ll be in touch by October 30 to let you know if we can offer you a place in the roster of performers.
Your ticket includes: 1 Drink Ticket + 10% discount off Rivoli meals purchased in the front room (restaurant) before the show.
(Bring your own accompaniment, or be accompanied by our in-house Lachrimae Festival lutenists, Jonathan & Lucas!)
As this concert takes place in a bar, it is 19+.
