HOLY DYNAMIC DUO, BATMAN – It’s a DOUBLE-HEADER!
This BAT-VEMBER, Dumpster Raccoon Cinema celebrates its November tradition of Bat-Mania with the ultimate no-holds-barred double-fight extravaganza – the unbelievable 60th ANNIVERSARY of Adam West and Burt Ward’s zany action comedy, BATMAN (1966) – along with the classic-you’ve-never-seen-before sexploitation superhero lucha lalapalooza, MUJER MURCIÉLAGO, aka “MEXICAN BATWOMAN” (1968)!
FIRST, it’s ALL HANDS ON DECK as the most NEFARIOUS members of BATMAN’S ROGUES GALLERY commandeer a submarine to wreak havoc on GOTHAM CITY! Can the caped crusaders BATMAN (Adam West) and ROBIN (Burt Ward) possibly stop the combined calamity of JOKER (Cesar Romero), RIDDLER (Ed Gorshin), PENGUIN (Burgess Meredith) and CATWOMAN (Lee Meriweather) – or will all of Gotham fall beneath their crooked crime spree?? Also Batman is IN LOVE with a lady who is SUSPICIOUSLY CAT-THEMED and I’m sure THAT’LL ALL GO GREAT!
THEN, after intermission, we travel south of the border (uh, ANOTHER border south, I guess, since we’re in Canada) to the definitely-not-authorized b-movie adventures of BATWOMAN (Maura Monti), as demented scientist ERIC WILLIAMS cracks his sickly scheme to harvest the SPINAL FLUID of the world’s greatest wrestlers to create his race of…fish monster guys, apparently!!! The only person who can stop him is BATWOMAN, masked wrestler extraordinaire turned costumed crime fighter (though how much of a “costume” it is is often DEBATEABLE!).
Travel back in time with us to when superhero movies were COLORFUL and FUN and STUPID ON PURPOSE and actually a LITTLE HORNY SOMETIMES!!!
With video preshow and…
