Grachtenfestival: Duo Leora – Gracias a la vida

The concert takes place in the sustainable building of the Goede Doelen Loterijen on the Zuidas in Amsterdam during the Grachtenfestival. Soprano Fleur Strijbos and guitarist Emma Wills perform works by composers such as Granados, de Falla, and Obradors in their own arrangements. The program celebrates love in all its facets: intimate, playfully mischievous, dreamily sweet, and passionate. A musical encounter with a unique story Fleur Strijbos and Emma Wills crossed paths for years in the corridors of the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. It was only at the Walden Festival, organized by radio station Klara, that their musical connection was forged. Thus, Duo Leora was born. The name is derived from Hebrew and Greek and means 'light'.
