An Evening with Tchaikovsky — Noah Zhou & the Last Minute Artist Orchestra

Following the overwhelming response to the Last Minute Artist Orchestra's debut last year, British-Chinese pianist Noah Zhou returns to Singapore, joining conductor Amanda Kye Tan and the orchestra once more for a full evening devoted entirely to Tchaikovsky at Victoria Concert Hall. Hailed by BBC Radio for his "masterful, deeply emotional and dramatic" playing, Zhou is the first British-born Laureate of the prestigious Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition, and returned again this April for a solo transcription of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 that The Straits Times called "heroic".This thrilling programme features Tchaikovsky's iconic Piano Concerto No. 1 and his beloved Symphony No. 5, a concert of triumph, lyricism, and orchestral grandeur.FEATURINGLast Minute Artist OrchestraAmanda Kye Tan, conductorNoah Zhou, piano*PROGRAMMETCHAIKOVSKY –1812 Overture, Op. 49Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Op. 23*Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64(Programme subject to change at the artists' discretion)
