🚴 Hluboká Castle: Cycling Through South Bohemia's Hidden Treasures
About the event
🚴🌿 Discover South Bohemia on Two Wheels!
Leave the hustle and bustle of Prague behind and join us for an unforgettable cycling adventure through one of the Czech Republic's most picturesque regions. Starting in the charming spa town of Bechyně, we'll cycle approximately 60 km along peaceful country roads, through rolling countryside, historic villages, and the beautiful Vltava River valley.
Along the way, we'll discover hidden gems including the Židova Strouha Nature Monument, Koloděje nad Lužnicí Castle, Týn nad Vltavou Castle, Vysoký Hrádek, the medieval Býšov Fortress, the Church of St. George, and the scenic Baba Nature Monument—perfect places to pause, take photos, and soak up the beauty of South Bohemia.
Our adventure culminates at the magnificent Hluboká Castle, one of the Czech Republic's most spectacular Neo-Gothic castles, where you'll enjoy a guided visit to its elegant Representative Rooms before we return comfortably to Prague by train.
Whether you're an experienced cyclist or simply looking for a fun and active day outdoors, this tour offers the perfect combination of nature, history, culture, and unforgettable scenery—all in the company of a small international group.
