👋 Hello everyone, let’s meet up for the new project of Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu, who has described the new film as insane and an absurdist comedy, similar in spirit to his previous work on [Birdman](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJfLoE6hanc). This is also his first English-language project since [The Revenant](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoebZZ8K5N0), so it’s been a while.

While many details remain under wraps, the film promises to be a unique and captivating experience. So far, we know that Tom Cruise plays Digger Rockwell, the world’s most powerful man, who sets out on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s saviour before a disaster he caused destroys everything.

We’ll start with our usual meet and greet, then the movie, and afterwards, review + drinks. I’ll let you know as soon as the tickets are available.
