Creating Another World: Creature Creations

A FUN AND FREE STORYTELLING EVENT FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUTH AGES 6 TO 10 Austin Bat Cave invites you to join us at the Austin Public Library’s Ruiz Branch, for our Creature Creations storytelling workshop, where participants create other worlds. This event promotes creativity and imagination through performance, writing, and interactive devising of their own worlds. With puppets, performers, and whimsy, we aim to make literacy fun and immersive. This workshop focuses on conjuring a faraway world of your child's choosing—from the weather and environment to the plants and animals. All participants will receive a book of their choice from our free book fair and have the opportunity to have their work published in Austin Bat Cave’s upcoming Anthology, Portals.
