Please note: Unfortunately, this concert is sold out.In a world that is in turmoil, Fuse shows its colors. In a new lineup, the group searches for the meaning of being a musician. Based on the conviction that music connects people, they play across all boundaries. From the old world to the new, and back again. With a programme that takes the audience on a journey from Bach to Ravel, Bartók and Thelonious Monk.
Fuse
They call themselves 'an unusual ensemble', and Fuse is indeed that. The ensemble, which caused a sensation as the 'delightful house band' of Podium Witteman, has brought together six musicians with partly a classical and partly a jazz background since its founding in 2012.
Thanks in part to the unusual instrumentation of string quartet with double bass and percussion, the sextet creates an unprecedented musical world. A world in which you find traces of classical music, jazz, folk music, minimal music, and improvisations that make every performance a unique experience.
Fuse is a regular guest at the VriendenLoterij Summer Concerts. This summer, they are performing a program that connects, across all boundaries, from Bach to Ravel, Bartók, and Thelonious Monk.
