Kronkel brings underground culture together and sends you, as a music lover, on a voyage of discovery through Alternative Amsterdam. You get the chance to encounter strange things—people, places, or 'scenes'. You will have to twist and turn from location to location, each with its own atmosphere and signature. An ode to the underexposed Amsterdam
Many cities in the Netherlands have a multi-venue festival dedicated to their alternative scene. As a breeding ground for counter-movements, it is high time that Amsterdam shows its true colors.
Pretty Ugly, Bandgurl666, and Geregeld Ontregeld present the multi-venue festival Kronkel. Throughout this day, various (music) disciplines come together at key underground locations in West and South – OCCII, Teatro Munganga, OT301, Willem de Zwijgerkerk, De Nieuwe Anita, Lab111, and the Vondelbunker.
Kronkel is not only a celebration of underground culture and everyone who makes it possible, within Amsterdam and far beyond. With music, art, and food. It is also a glimpse into the culture that Amsterdam creates and has created, for people who want to learn about this city, or want something other than a DJ.
