The Jin is a Korean restaurant in Manhattan, which makes it a great setting for our group to practice Korean and English while also enjoying Korean food and culture together.
What to Expect
This will be a relaxed and welcoming gathering focused specifically on Korean–English conversation practice. No formal lessons — just real interaction, cultural exchange, and meaningful connection.
Agenda (Flexible & Casual)
• 5–10 min – Arrival & ordering food or drinks
• 15–20 min – Introductions & icebreaker
• 45–60 min – Korean–English small-group conversation rounds
• Final 5 min – Group wrap-up & future meetup ideas
How Language Exchange Will Work
We’ll divide into small groups of 4–5 people for conversation practice. Each round will last about 15 minutes, and then we’ll switch groups so everyone has a chance to meet and talk with different people.
We’ll have approximately 2–3 conversation rounds, depending on the size of the group and available time.
During each round, we’ll practice both Korean and English so that everyone gets a chance to speak and learn.
Beginners are absolutely welcome! This is a supportive space where mistakes are simply part of learning.

Important Venue Note – $10 Minimum Purchase
The Jin is kindly allowing us to hold our meetup at their restaurant. Each participant is asked to make a minimum purchase of $10 per person.
You can use the $10 minimum toward food and/or drinks from the restaurant.
