Thrive: Multicultural Women's Festival
About the event
A vibrant, free celebration of the cultures, creativity and contributions of multicultural women in Melbourne. Taking over Queen Victoria Market, Thrive brings together women and communities from across the world for a dynamic day of live music and dance, multicultural food, cultural performances, interactive activities, inspiring conversations and unique market stalls showcasing women-led businesses and entrepreneurs.
What sets Thrive apart is its focus on multicultural women not only as performers, but as creators, business owners, storytellers and community leaders. Visitors can experience Melbourne’s extraordinary cultural diversity in one place – discovering new foods, traditions, music and stories while connecting with the people and communities that make the city unique. Thrive offers an opportunity to experience multicultural Melbourne in an authentic and celebratory way at one of the city’s most iconic destinations.
