This on-site class provides direct engagement with the exhibition "Victor Brecheret: Indigenous Imagery as a Symbol of Brazilianness" at Centro Cultural FIESP. Participants will deepen their understanding of Victor Brecheret, a leading figure of Brazilian Modernism, and examine his sculptural language through a range of materials including sculptures, drawings, photographs, and documents. The recurring presence of indigenous subjects in Brecheret's work will be traced across different periods of his career, illuminating his contributions to Brazilian art.
