Hike in Brdy
About the event
Meeting point: Praha-Smíchov train station, at 10:00 on the 20th of September. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can catch the train together.
Route: About 13–15 km with around 400 m of elevation gain. The first hour includes a steady climb, and after that the ridge trail is gentle and rolling. Suitable for anyone with basic hiking fitness.
Return: We'll take the bus from Mníšek pod Brdy back to Prague at around 17:00, arriving at about 17:45.
Tickets: The train and bus are both covered by PID tickets. Please buy your own in the PID Lítačka app or at the station before we leave.
What to bring: Packed lunch and snacks (there are no places to eat on the ridge), at least 1.5 liters of water, comfortable hiking shoes, a rain jacket, and a charged phone.
